Twins have been born to their parents at different years - one in 2015 and the other in 2016 .  Jaelyn Valencia was born just one minute before  12 on 31 Dec , 2015  to parents Maribel and Luis Valencia.  While her brother Luis Valencia Jr. came along  12.01am on New Year's Day .


Luis told NBC San Diego:
 'Maribel really wanted to have the babies on the same birthday . Because, you know, later on in the years they're going to have a little confrontation and be like "My birthday came first.'" It was around midnight and she was just popping out . It was crazy seeing her little head pop out first.'  


 The two healthy babies, were both measured to be 18.5 inches long .  Jaelyn weighed 4lb 15 ounces and Luis weighed 5lb 9 ounces .

But wait , they'd have to celebrate their birthdays on different dates ... right ?
